Customs Duties, Fees & Import Taxes
Deliveries to the US and Canada will not incur any additional customs fees, duties or taxes beyond the sales tax we charge at checkout. In the US, we collect and remit sales tax wherever we are legally required to do so. In Canada, we collect and remit federal and provincial sales tax (GST/PST/HST) on all orders.
Deliveries to the European Union and other countries may be subject to VAT, customs duties, handling fees and/or import taxes by the destination country. We do not collect VAT for EU orders. You may be charged taxes or duties when your package is delivered. Please check your country’s customs policies before you order, -or- order through the TerribleToyshop Etsy Shop, where Etsy is legally required to charge and remit VAT on our behalf in most countries.
Discreet Packaging
We ship all products in unmarked cardboard boxes or bubble mailers, and we use our low-key, un-Googleable operating name on the return address. Depending on the destination, the package contents will be identified either as “toys” or “novelty items” (with Harmonized System code 9505.00) on customs forms.
